Loose Buttons are a four-piece of lifelong New Yorkers, praised for their “ultra-catchy downtown rock n' roll" by Stereogum and “sun-dappled garage sound" by The Fader. They'll return with a new eleven-song collection, You Came To See Magic, on August 21, 2026. The album includes singles “I Saw Jon Hamm At The Beach” - which Hamm himself heard and shouted out in a TV interview (thanks Jon!) - as well as their newest release “Come To Brazil,” which takes the internet's favorite indie rock rallying cry and uses it to explore the tension between delusion and devotion in pursuit of a dream. “We’ve been trying to pull the rabbit out of the hat for most of our lives, squeezing it into sub-three minute songs and hoping it lands," says Loose Buttons' Eric Nizgretsky. "Somewhere along the way I realized that if you do that long enough with the people you love, it stops feeling like a trick. The people who are by your side through all of that, they become the ones you want around long after the lights go out. That’s the forever in it. You came to see magic.” LB have toured across North America with Del Water Gap, Palace, DICE, Wunderhorse, Last Dinosaurs and Been Stellar; and to celebrate the new album are coming back home to put on the first-ever live concert in the 130-year history of downtown New York institution the Russian & Turkish Baths (a show which sold out under an hour after it was announced).
